CWS-P/A is providing preventive and curative health care services to off-camp IDPs and people in the host communities of District Kohat in order to minimize their vulnerability through emergency/primary health care and awareness raising sessions. Free medical consultations are provided, including laboratory tests and medicines, to all patients with a specific focus on maternal and child health care. Health and hygiene sessions have been included to reduce the risk of health related disasters, such as outbreaks of epidemics and communicable diseases, by equipping the target population with skills and knowledge of practical measures to prevent diseases by adopting healthy behaviors.
