As an organization, Community World Service Asia always strives to support partners with initiatives that aim to strengthen the capacity of their staff and representatives. As Quality & Accountability regional focal points in Asia, our focus is particularly on strengthening quality and accountability (Q&A) mechanisms while supporting academia, government departments and local NGOs on various project management and humanitarian interventions.

Keeping in line our mandate, we are now offering a 5-day certificate course that will focus on applying the basic principles of Q&A including the ‘Do No Harm’ approach to the project management cycle in humanitarian action.

Participants will learn to apply humanitarian principles and standards in emergency and non-emergency situations. This will in-turn help to ensure greater accountability towards project participants/affected populations and ensure their interventions do not cause any divisions or conflict in the community they work with.

This training is specifically designed for young professionals (beginners or youth aiming for a career in the development/humanitarian sector).
